With scissors in one hand and a toddler in the other, my journey to creating Little Lane was born from real-life experience. As a hairdresser for 18 years and a mum of three, I've seen firsthand the struggles parents face with children's hair care – from tear-filled detangling sessions to the quest for curl-friendly products that actually work.

My personal turning point came after finding out I was BRCA1 positive. During my recovery from preventative surgery, I had the white space to finally bring to life something I'd been formulating for years. I became more conscious about reducing chemicals in our home, and I couldn't find products I truly loved for my own children's hair.

That's why Little Lane was created: to provide gentle, effective solutions that make hair care enjoyable for both parents and little ones.
